A64 4000+ SD (939) - Decent?

Great!! Does anyone know when this weeks specials finish? Also, is OCUK open tomorrow?

I know it won't fit into my current MOBO, I was just enquiring if I could use the fan and heatsink from my old 3000+ on a socket 939 mobo with this processor.

K here's the results, all with an X800XT at stock. Gonna put the 1800 in next. The memory is always running 1t-2-2-2 timings. Board is an Asrock Dual-Sata2 with 1.5 bios. My mobo and memory have some issues with each other anything over 200mhz or any later bios versions stops the computer from booting.

I was going to go conroe or X2, totally new everything, but when I sat down and did the sums I just couldn't afford it. Also, it would be my first ever build and I didn't want to break anything :p. So I was thinking of getting a S939 MOBO and get one of these babies while there on offer, and just chuck it into my old case and keep everything else. Possibly get a 1800XT in a few weeks as well if there still about ;).
