A64 4000 vs Opteron clocked at same speeds?

Which would win?

I am trying to find an A64 4000 that can do 3Ghz on air but I have been offered an Opteron that can 3Ghz on air instead.

Will I notice any real difference?

only difference is the multiplyer...which may limit you if you have a pants board....

its a 146 i seen the thread in members market, 10x multi, venus core, 1mb cache

As the others have said - Exactly the same. I only asked on the off-chance it was a dual core that could do 3GHz. That would be pretty sweet.
