hi all, was wondering, how much difference would it make in real world performance if ram at 3-3-3-10 200mhz dual channel vs 3-3-3-10 240mhz is used in the A64 systems?

been reading that people say that memory bandwidth does not effect the A64 that much, just wanted an opinion from you guys on this subject?

I had issues with a 166 divider on my rig.
At about 215 FSB with 2.5,3,3,8 I got about 33s on SuperPi 1M.
When I put it onto a 133 divider to fix my problems its at 173 2,3,2,5 I get about 34s.
Barely any different and no realworld difference but its just an exmaple.
I don't think memory bandwidth is a major factor and won't affect your speed, tighter timings will compensate.

this is slightly related but my g.skill hz is at 254mhz at the moment timings 3-4-4-8. on a 180 divider. Would it work better if it tried a 150divider to run it at 200mhz and put it at cas 2.5-3-3-7 or something like that?

im thinking it would be better on what its on now (29sec on PI 1mb)

i think it may be better on the lower mhz and quicker timings since A64 is all about latency. my super pi 1m score is under 32s with 2T command rate and ram running at 228mhz 3-3-3-10 timings. i scored faster super pi, running at 182mhz ram 3-3-3-10 1T command rate. was around half second quicker.
