The memory forum drew a blank so I thought I'd try here: :)

I am looking for memory for a ASRock FM2A75M-ITX. What should I get?

I fancied the Tactical Tracer stuff but would the 2133 Corsair Vengeance be a better but less illuminated option?

I'm going to fit a A10-6800 and have installed a 6670 for dual graphics.

If the VRM's go bang I will replace the board with the A85 model.

It is an interesting one.
It all really depends on how dual graphics use memory.
If it was just the A10 then it would use some on your RAM as graphics memory, which is why faster RAM is a good idea.
But in Dual graphics the descrete graphics card, HD6670, has its own GDDR5 memory.
I can't see how it could use both and no reviews I can find mention it.

It might be worth asking in the customer service section to see if OcUK have had a play. My guess would be that in Dual Graphics mode it wouldn't use RAM as graphics memory, so you could use almost any RAM you wanted.

Cheers for that. :)

The 6800K officially supports 2133 MHz RAM according to Custom PC and the AMD website, whilst the other APUs officially support 1866 MHz.

I guess I'll try the 2133 option and miss out on the spiffy LEDs.
