hi all, i have an old asus board and im havin probs...

i have installed my old xp177 in it and put it in a case, i know everything works xp, ram psu etc, however the pc will post, let me in bios or try an load windows then just lose all power!
it does it at random times however i have never really got it to load windows or even to install. the time scales of whern it will shut down are completely random. ie it is pretty obvious that it is not anything i am doin that makes it reset, it is something else

i took it out of a case to check it was nout grounding or bad contact or anything and it does the same.
i reset the bios, ive done everything i know and i cant solve it. anyone got any suggestions?

It could be your memory Voltage is too low or more likely your heatsink isn't making proper contact with the core(too much paste, not mounted properly)
