Hey,
I'm looking to purchase a new headset, primarily for gaming use. I would love to get an inch of that "I can hear you across the map" advantage, so I'm looking for something decent yet not too pricey.
I have no sound card, just a simple A8N-E Skt939 with onboard sound. So it really boils down to my question.
Could my current motherboard (with onboard sound) justify the purchase of something like the:
SpeedLink Medusa SL-8793 5.1 ProGamer Edition (SP-026-SL)

If anybody has any other suggestions, fire away - I'm a novice when it comes t sound and any input is super.
