Hey, how can I flash the bios of an A8N-SLI Deluxe back to an earlier version?? at the moment its using the 1017-004 beta version but i suspect this may be causing some of my other problems, mainly audio.
At the minute i can't get the onboard audio to work at all, I can't even install a sound card. I've tried 3 different sound cards and all of them restart my computer as soon as it tries to install the drivers. I've tried using 2 different hard drives with 2 different clean installs of windows and still nothing.
so my last resort was to flash the bios to the latest one (though i found it allready has the latest beta version on) as i have read some people fixed the audio probelm with the latest bios.
at the very least it may help when installing a PCI sound card
