I have the above motherboard and have recently tried to install a Sata PCI controller card, the card came with a cd for XP drivers etc and when installed windows sees it as a raid controller, not sure if that is right or not ?
Anyway my main problem is that I wish to use the card in dos mode, and i just cant seem to get the comp to ackowledge its there?
in case it helps I am trying to flash a sata drive with this card. rather than use the m/b onboard sata.
a thought that has crossed my mind is that the bios might be too new to recognise the card ? and that i am better using an old comp ?
Any ideas, thoughts are welcome.
