A8N Sli Premium Raid controllers???

I'm after a little advice on which Raid controller I should use on my A8N SLi Premium.
I don't know what one to choose between. The NvRaid or the Silicon? Anyone got any suggestions or advice on what one should go with or have you have heard of anyone having problems with one or the other.

I normally use the nvidia but i have been having issues with the PC not restarting when its told so i used the silicon image and its fine now

Bit of a hijack but has anyone tried doing a raid rebuild on the nvidia controller as I can't seem to get it to work. The silicon controller is ok but not the nvidia.
Anyone had the same issue?
