Hi
Just a quicky, im still trying to sift out on setting up my new rig, but in the mean time i want the one i have right now to be as good as it can be, ive just put on a 8800 GTS and thats made thing a little better, but i want to install more memory, the question is, can the board take it and if so what memory do i use, the system is one i got from a friend to get me by as i fried my last Mesh computer.
Im running amd athlon amd64 x2 dual core 4200 with at current 3 gb of ram, so do you think it will take another stick of 1 Gb ram and if so what is it thats in there

Regards

tony

It takes DDR1 RAM, up to PC3200

Theres 4 slot and its probably easier to take out what you have and see what it is. If its 3Gb youve either got 1x1Gb and 2x1Gb, 2x1Gb and 2x512Mb

if there's an empty slot it will definitely take an extra gig, however are you running 64bit OS? if not, there isn't much point upgrading the ram as the OS will only see about a third of said extra gig.
I have the same board and cpu btw, with 2gb of ram (4x512mb).
