Have just built up a rig using this asus board and although the machine seems to post correctly I can not enter the bios at all. Am using a ps2 keyboard which I have tested in another machine which shows it working. Have tried single stick of RAM and different slots and a cmos reset without any improvement.
There is simply no response when I press DEL or F1 or anything.
I'm fearing the worst about the mobo, feel my next step is to try a build outside the case so I can rule out some kind of tricky case short issue. Any other ideas ?
Edit for further info:
One thing I noted that seems to point at some kind of fault with the mobo was that even with the keyboard disconnected it did not give any noticeable beep error code, it was just the one short beep at power up as normal.
