AA and AF don't seem to work?

Hi all, I have a problem with my 1950Pro that probably has a simple solution:

I've enabled AA and AF in the Catalyst Control Panel but they don't seem to be on when I load a game. The only way to get them on is to turn them on via the game. I've only tried with WoW and Battlefield but the situation is the same in both. Is this my problem or does the game override the settings?

I've always had trouble with AA and AF in the catalyst drivers, never seems to work properly, especially in BF2. Never found a fix for it, just kept fiddling around until I got it to work.

Sorry to bring this to the top again. I've been playing around, newest drivers, Omega drivers, changing settings and more but no matter what I do as soon as I load a game it all goes back to 1x everything. It's not too bad at the moment because both WoW and BF have the option to set AA and AF ingame (perhaps they override driver settings?), but eventually I'm going to get a game that doesnt do this.

Has no one else had problems like this?

I have just disabled AA, AF and everything else in the Catalyst software (think I set mipmap level tho), and just let the games apply the settings. I have the same problems with BF2, Far Cry and others.
