AA Battery charger recommendations?

'Tis the season of a million battery-powered devices entering my home so I want to preempt that with kitting myself out with a decent 4-slot AA/AAA battery charger. I'm keen on each slot "intelligently" deciding how to charge and for how long etc, plus I really like some kind of display with as many stats for nerds as possible. Perfect world would be something that Home Assistant can talk to but I know that's probably not happening.
I'll be using NiMH batteries but would like to switch to lithium later.

Some googling has led me to these two:

XTAR VX4 - £36 - Includes QC3.0 wall charger
Nitecore UMS4 - £40 - Supposedly better quality?

Both do up to 3A charging and have USB-C using QC 3.0.

Thoughts? Any other options I should look at?

I have a 'youshiko' 4 x AA/AAA charger, seems to be a highly regarded brand, can charge each battery individually with a few different charge rates, also has refresh and test modes as well as a USB port on the back to charge other devices (slowly tbh) as well.

I'll invest in AA/AAA li-ion rechargeables eventually -
since torches/remotes/heating-stuff I have needs 1.5V you can't get from nimh so still buying throwaway cells.

Searched youshiko on Amazon and now I want a weather station too

Massively otherthinking it if this is just for charging AA/AAA batteries IMO.
Yeah, but if you are recovering cells or like to know the capacity then it isn't too bad. I think I have 2-3 of those multi battery chargers (one's that do Li-on and NiMH) and I don't even use them much.

I have a Uniross (Youshiko looking) charger with 4 bays that I got for £20 a few years ago. It's good because it has a good range of charging rates (100, 200, 500, 700, and 1000mA) for different batteries and it's recovered a few. The main reason I went for it was the refresh mode which would charge/discharge to get the max capacity of a battery so I could leave it running. The downside is it uses a 12V DC barrel connector but I don't mind that since it's only for use at home. I have an EBL 8 slot charger with the spring slots that make it quick to load and remove batteries that is for my general charging and that runs off USB so can be used in many places.

I am running an old Nitecore i4 charger for over 10 years.
It can charge anything from AAA to 26650 batteries.
I have even charged some small batteries from disposable vapes.
Iirc I paid £5 for it 2nd hand.

I have Eneloops, Eneloops Pro and the Eneloop charger and have been really impressed with it all. The Eneloop Pros last ages in my work laser levels.
