Without it, many many fps (COD series, Crysis, FC2, AvP) but even just a smidging (2x) and I'm at a crawl ... I'm talking 20-30fps here at 1920x1080.

Just installed this today, upgrade from a 4870 which I had used AA without a problem.

Running latest officials (10.12). Even tried fresh OS on a spare drive, no help. Have also tried the leaked 11.1 betas.

Currently have CCC set up to just pick up application settings, this worked fine with 4870. I can see that there are some additional options (Morphological filtering) which I have tried both checked and unchecked, Surface format yada yada, again tried both checked and unchecked, same story with Crossfire power settings, no luck.

Quite disappointed. This is the 1st time I've ever had an issue with a GPU. Card (a HIS) is really nice otherwise, blazing without AA (as one would expect) and I can't even hear the thing.

Any help really really appreciated :)

Are you using box or edge detect filter for aa ? Edge detect is much slower.

Do you have it on multisample, adaptive or supersample aa ?

Its on app settings for initial AA but yes, slid AA Mode slider to MSAA from SSAA and got 250fps on COD4. Woods/trees and thanks m8, what a difference. Had reinstalled drivers again and got 50fps minimum with SSAA, using 11.1 betas now but MSAA will do me just fine. Yay, I can use shadows on Blops!

Thanks again Moody, star man :)

No problem.

One day we'll be able to run 8xssaa in everything@60fps. The image quality is superb with it on.

Do yourself a favour and grab RadeonPro. Lets you set aa, af, aa type, vsync, etc...for any game you want via profiles.

Much easier to work with than CCC's built-in profile system.
