AA or RAC???

Hi what one would you say is best ???

Am just after being towed home where ever i am in the Uk if they cant fix the car

and all the other stuff fix your car by road side or at home ect


just wondering which one is better and best for money :D
 
RAc for me :)

i'm blacklisted by the AA after my renault 5 turbo ownership experience :)
 
and dont sign up on the phone or via the web


get into your local shopping centre and haggle :) they guys can give you some proper cheapo prices

Doubt many triangulate your position. Unless you have gps enabled phone I'd find it unlikely.
 
I'm with the RAC. Called them out a few weeks ago and had a good chat with the guy for about 30 minutes while my Dad went and got hold of some oil (8:30pm on a Sunday evening made that a little difficult ;))

Called them out once before when I killed the gearbox on the 214 and can't fault them at all.

They can see which cell tower you're making the call via and it gives a guesstimate on your distance from the tower.
 
get the loyds bank account where you get free travel insurance , phone insurance , and aa cover , other free stuff too but i dont use that

oh its not free at all its 6quid a month :o

comes in handy when you loose your phone or your car breaks down though

probably not handy when both happen at once mind
 
RAC. Had them out twice, and both times they did an excellent job.

Thought they might have been punishing me when my 12-month renewal came round and it went up by £20 for the year. I rang to have a bit of a moan and they dropped the price down! Top marks :)
 
RAC all the way.

If nothing else you can flick your wallet open and get the men in orange coats outside every single service station in England to shut up and leave you alone. :p

Oh and apart from that, and they have actually been very useful. With the hire cars and the fixing broken things and all that.
