Why do we need to have these? I

t asks you if you want to install DX, Physx, runtimes on install, why is it then necessary to copy them anyway with game installs.

Just done a sweep of my HDD's and over 5GB of the buggers!!!

run a quick search with keyword 'REDIST' on where you store your games to see what you have!

rarely uninstall anything :) and have games spread across 2x2TB drives

but what gets my goat is that it usually asks you if you want to install said package, even if you untick/say no, they plonk it on your HDD anyway, just in case :confused:
