Today was the first time in ages I took a drive in daylight again and when I arrived at uni I noticed this on my car :mad: :

How can someone be so blind to keep going for like 1/3rd of the car length ''what's that sound ? ahh probably nothing''.

I have no idea when this could have happened :(, I didn't notice it yesterday night at kfc when I walked to my car and it couldn't have happened after that as I went straight home and the car was parked with the damaged side to a hedge... ( and yes I know my car is dirty, I haven't washed the salt off yet, and on the left door that's my finger mark going overt he damage...)
Most of it is dirt or the paint of the culprit. Hopefully most of it will polish out, what do you guys think ?

That doesn't look too bad tbh, should be able to polish it out.
It's just long, but it doesn't seem too deep.

Could be worse!
I keep noticing new door ding paint transfers :(

Seeing as it hasn't dented the door there would have been very little noise/steering friction so it would probably make sense that they didn't notice, doesn't excuse them though.
 
After a bit of cleaning and a little bit polishing it now looks like this:

Car really needs a clean, I'll probably go clean it tonight after work or tomorrow when I have the afternoon off...
I think it ''might'' come off with a rotary polisher, probs need to pop over to halfords and get a cheap one.
