Anyone have one of these? the ones that lifts bike from the frame/engine mounting bolts?

don't fancy wrestling the front end with a car jack and blocks of wood when I change fork oil and head bearings

are they worth it?

I have an Abba stand lifts from the swing arm spindle and I also have the fitting for the front foot rest bolt holes so I can take out the swing arm.

Many fitting are available for the Abba stand.

I have had two, stupidly sold them both each time after selling old bikes and now have a front and rear paddock stand and can catagorically say that the abba was worth every penny and you should buy one now. yes they are that good.

yup i have one.. love it .. picked up on ebay for £40 and £20 for bobbins for my bike... could do with taking swing arm off though and thats where it bolts

Yes I have one and after two biker people saw it they also have one each now too!

Ridiculously easy to use with just one person and the bike is rock solid when raised up too. Worth the extra over a cheap paddock stand for sure. No having to balance the bike when taking it off the stand, etc.

Have used it for the Honda CB1KR, Duke and now the Triumph as you simply buy the adapter kits.

I bought one, gonna need it to whip out the front forks

@snuggle I think you can buy the fittings that let you remove the swingarm, sure I saw them on the website

Like i said in my above post fittings for front peg bolts so you can remove swingarm.

I wish these were available back when I was messing about with my GSX1100.

A lot less mucking about than a frame support made from slabs of 6"x4" and Dexion with cargo straps from the garage roof joists holding the back end up...

I had a gsx1100 brute of an engine rebuilt the top end in my living room :D

I have one and the only thing I didn't like was some sort of rubber protection on the lower section to stop it getting scratched from sitting on the ground. I've wrapped some thick rubber bands around it as a fix.
