What's the deal with Abercrombie and Fitch sizes? Are they made small, large or reasonably accurate?

I'm buying my GF birthday presents, she's said previously that she would need a large from Abercrombie because their tops are made small but I've checked their size guides and I'm not so sure. She is generally an 8-10 from most shops, small bust but she's tall so I'm confused.

Any ideas? :)

edit: Their size chart states: L = 37 - 39inch bust. So, surely she's not a large then?

Well, if I'm buying S, M or L. I generally buy M because she's tall. However, I have read that their sizes are pretty small made? Just wanted to be sure, Yahoo is hardly a reliable source.

Thankyou for your order at coolnet store. We will continue to charge you random amounts of money though out the year.

That's why I panicked. Utterly weird payment process they have. Anyone else ordered? I expected, like most sites, that they'd sent an instant email confirming the order etc yet I got nothing? For such a big brand it's slightly worrying.

Buying a girl clothes, you're mental.

I've made sure I know exactly what she wants! :p Otherwise I wouldn't dare, unless it's undies of course.

Right, it wasn't legitimate. My GF sent me the link to the hoody in an email a while back, I've went straight onto the link and purchased from there without even looking at the URL in detail. The site is practically identical so I didn't give it a second thought.

It's not the real site. So, I'm ******. :(

This has never happened before, I've no idea what to do? I'm going to phone my bank right now.

Just cancelled my card, it seems the payment has already came off. I've never been so stupid...

In future, always check the links/websites your GF gives you. :(

It's my own stupidity tbh. I'm always on the high horse, warning everyone and laughing when I see a blatant scam. I can't believe this thread went from "what size to buy" to "omg, I've been mugged"...

I fear she's probably misspelled it in Google and went to the first result. :(

Is there anywhere in particular that I should report the fake website to? I know not much can be done but I'm somewhat worried about the implications of importing fake goods, should they send me knock off crap from China.

listen to your girlfriend maybe?
Somehow I think that's the last thing I'll be doing! :p
So has the site totally scammed you?

Will you be getting no fake hoodie?

Indeed, chap on the phone last night said they've already charged my account and I cancelled the card incase anything else happens, he also said I should inform the police. Spoke to the GF on the phone earlier, she was pretty upset/annoyed but oh well, you live and learn.

Edit: Forgot to mention, I also received the confirmation email after all, they're using the Chinese postal service(give away much?) to transport either the fake goods or nothing at all. I emailed telling them to give me back my ****** money. :p
