Aberdeen Harbour south breakwater....

Trying some new stuff now - Aberdeen harbour's south breakwater, 1 second exposure. I am now fascinated by taking pictures of water.......

I like the water effect mate, very atmospheric. The sky and colour of the breakwater is a bit dull though, Could be a very interesting HDR shot.

need to work on your focusing. especially in this shot. when using small apertures (high numbers) focusing becomes something of issue becasue of the amount of DOF available. try to focus somewhere half way ish in the picture or even 2 thirds. in this, really, the lighthouse should be in focus.

I like your photo too.

I had a tinker with it in Photoshop, (converted it to B&W, Agressively adjusted Levels, duplicated layer ran high pass filter and converted layer to hard light and reduced opacity just a little) and made it look very dramatic. I don't know if you dapple in Photoshop?
