Abit AA8-Duramax E6600 with bios upgrade???

Hi guys, ive got a lowly P4 3.2 LGA775 in my Abit AA8 duramax mobo.

Now the Abit site bios upgrade section suggests support was added for 1066fsb CPU's a couple of versions back, however none of their CPU compatability guides say anything about the 925x chipset and C2D cpus.

Anyone know more info?

Sorry the AA8 series does not support C2D.

Intel changed the VRM requirements for C2D so C2D support can't just be added in a BIOS as the board doesn't have the right hardware setup to run them.

Nevermind the VRM, don't think the 925X chipset itself supports C2D anyhow.
