I'v finally got round to upgrading my system to vista, and it really doesn't seem to like my raid layouts.
Before iv been running a system with Windows XP Media Centre 2005
with 6 hard drives in 2 different raid arrays
4 x samsung 250Gb Sata - Stripped and Mirrored
2 x Maxtor 250Gb IDE - Mirrored
Iv backed up data from all drives and wiped off any partitions using Gdisk so all drives are totaly blank.
Iv now installed Vista Premium and now my IDE drives fail to show or detect as a single drive, they just show as 2 drives, but my Sata drives have been detected fine, using the latest driver at the install. I used to have my system booting from the raided IDE's and used the satas for backup of video footage until edited onto DVD.
Iv now installed vista onto another IDE drive on the same channel as my DVD drive to try a new install. This also fails to get the IDE Raid working.
Does anyone have any ideas, iv tried googleing but because my internet provider has broken something most sites arn't working at the min.
nForcersHQ and the Nvidia fourms fail to load.
