On the wagon, sorta
like the title says just woundering as there well priced but never owned one are certain models any good for overclocking to?

yes, certain models are (AB9 QuadGT, IP35 Pro etc.) & others (like the IL9 Pro) aren't.
What are you looking at?

i was looking at the ib9 or if i can push a bit further the Abit Fatal1ty F-I90HD ATI Micro
id like some modest oc's on a e2160 just trying to save punds here and there to make sure i can stick with the 8800gts

The IB9 is OK (will probably get to ~400fsb +- on a C2D) & it's probably the only 965 chipset mobo with 2 IDE channels.
Have a look at the IP35-E though (OcUK have got the description wrong - no firewire) as that has a newer, cooler running chipset with support for future CPUs.
if your getting an 8800 then there is imo no point in getting an F-I90HD.
