Can someone please advise me on what settings I should be shooting for with the hardware that I have.

e6600 w/ ACF7
AWD9 Max
Corsair PC2 6400 2x1gb
BFG 8800GTX
BFG 1000w psu

Basically everything you see in this link :)

I received the system yesterday overclocked slightly (just under 3ghz) from OCUK (thanks guys), I have since played around with the bios a bit to get to a speed of 3238ghz

I have it set as follows

fsb 360
Multi 9x
strap 1066
Dram SPD (4:5)
5-5-5-15
Core volt 1.41
Dram volt 1.85
MCH 1.52

Idle temp is around 35c
Load temp is hitting 51-52c

If I go higher on the fsb (365) I get a bsod.

What, if anything, am I missing as far as my settings. Is there anything I should be setting/manipulating in the bios so I can go a bit higher ?

Many thanks

No idea on the exact spec of the ram unless I pull a stick out. Until then all I have to go on is this taken from the advert:

Award winning Corsair 2GB PC2-6400 CAS4 (2x1GB) Dual Channel Kit (Overclocked at 900MHz+)

Will see how far I can get with the divider at 1:1

Thanks

Right then, I will check on what bios version that I have, thanks.

*Edit: can you tell me exactly where I can find my bios version or what version this one is. Everest reports my version as:

Award BIOS Type Phoenix - AwardBIOS v6.00PG
System BIOS Date 09/15/06

I managed to get it running at these settings now:

380 fsb / 1:1 / 5-5-5-15 3420ghz

Core volts 1.48v / MCH 1.56v / Mem 2.10v

Temps are 39c idle / 69c load (all reported via Everest)

Any suggestions on what to settings to try now to get a bit more out of her, or should I be happy with this and call it a day ?

I tried 385 fsb a few times but it would freeze up after a few minutes of Orthos, even after raising the core voltage up a bit more to 1.5v
