ABIT code 26

[GTO]

Hi all,

I have an ABIT AV8 3rd Eye which is giving me an error code 26.

After searching the net I think I might have a power supply problem but I'm not 100% sure. I have disconnected some of my hardware (floppy & 2 HDDs) but I still get the error every now and then.

I'm going to try another PSU but can anyone tell me what code 26 actually means? (in english please)

This is what I've found but it's all double dutch to me.

1.if early INIT_ONBOARD_GENERATOR is not defined onboard clock generator initialization.Disable respective clock resource to empty pci and dimm slots.
2.init onboard PWM
3.init onboard H/W monitor devices.

All I can tell you is that it stops at 26 with constant short beeps.

When it does this I have to keep hitting reset and eventually it'll start up.

I have some other issues which I'm starting to think are all down to my PSU going t!ts up.
