I've just built my HTPC around this system and I'm now having problems with it. It powers up ok and then I get the message:

CMOS Checksum Error - Defaults Loaded

I can either press F1 to continue or go into the bios. If I go into the bios and make any changes it will not reboot and I have to clear the CMOS to continue. However, if I press F1 to continue it starts to go through my vista install but then wont let me install onto my sata drive. I've tried putting in the disk with the sata drivers but this hasn't worked either. I've changed the battery, tried different ram and I'm stuck as what to try next. Anyone got this board and had this problem?

Have you cleared the CMOS, gone back into the bios, changed the ram voltage from auto to stock ( believe its 1.9v for that ram ) and rebooted?

Tried all that, as soon as I restarted after changing the bios - no boot.

At last!! Tried yet more ram and this time it's worked!! Time to send this back I think. Just got to load vista now and (hopefully) we're in business.

Right, finally got this all up and running now! Just one more question though. When it boots up the picture is all distorted during the boot screen and in the bios. However, when vista starts it's all fine. Any idea what's causing this? I'm connecting to my tv via hdmi.
