Guys i have been havin some probs clockin my Q6600 with the above abit board. the max i can get it is to 2.8. with my old In73HD had it runnin at 3.2 stable no probs. Is there anything on the board that could be holding it back.

Q6600 + Abit Fatal1ty FP-IN9 + 4g OCZ 6400 + 8800GTS + Cprsair 550w
+ 3x500g WD

I had one of those boards when they were launched and sent it back in less than a week. Terrible board. Stick it on the bay.

NF650i is not very good with a quad so don't go and buy another 650i based board as you will likely have similar results.
 
as stated nF650i SLI isn't good for fsb overclocking quads - the highest that you will get on any is 3.0-3.2GHz & it will take serious voltages to get there.

If you want to fsb overclock a quad get a P35/P45/X48.
 
Depends on how much you want to spend really. Anything from Asus/Gigabyte/DFI with a P35/P45 would do the job. If you wanted to go crossfire with the new ATI cards then X38/X48 boards.
