Does anyone else have this board.

Abit Fatal1ty FP-IN9 SLi nForce 650 (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard.

im going to be get Intel Core 2 DUO E6300 with it

what would the best ram to go with this set ?

it's not crap, it's just not great yet :p
The hardware is good but needs more BIOS work (which is happening) to be great but still we're seeing screenies at 450 & 475fsb.

not being funny - but what use is a screen of 450 if its not stable?

It's diabolical.

If that sort of thing appeals to you, buy the ASUS P5N-E SLi which is the same chipset implemented by ASUS (like BUFF's got!)

Compare the Official P5N-E SLi Thread with the Official FP-IN9 650i Thread and you'll quickly spot that one is routinely turning in decent overclocks and solid performance and the other is the "Board Most Likely to be RMA'd Because it Fails to Meet Expectations".

I used to have it but sent it back after a week of nothing but problems. Freezing at the post screen, 3-4 attempts to start up, random lock-ups and restarts and all this even at stock. Sent it back under the DSR's for a full refund and got my DS3P which is awesome. The rest of my components are the same and what a difference.

There has been a bios update that fixes some of the problems, but i would still advise you to spend your money on a better board.

but some people are stable at that

& yes, I do have the P5N-E SLI because it was out 3 months before the abit but as I'm sure that you also know I'm critical of it's shortcomings too.
Repeat after me "there is no perfect board" :p
