Abit fault code

Just went to fire her up and Im getting the fault code 3.4 on my motherboard , Its an abit the same as the redeye but its the SLI version . The book says atx power supply ready - If it was ready why dont it start
There is also a long and a short beep

You need to give more specific info on the system e.g. which exact Abit mobo.

3.4 is a new 1 on me, normally ATX PSU ready is 8.3. & if it hangs there it usually means a problem with the PSU.
1 long , 1 short is often a RAM error but without knowing which exact board & therefore which type of BIOS it uses ...
