Anyone got anymore info. on these?

I just have a quick question though, it says completely Digital from Input to Output. Now are there any perceivable benefits of digital over analogue? Does the X-Fi music have a digital output to allow (if I were to ever purchase Digital Speakers) connectivity?

Thanks. :)

Anyone able to give a heads up on this, my speakers are giving up the ghost and i saw these and am considering them?

Any benefits etc as above?

Thanks all! :)

No doubt they are decent speakers, but the pure digital signal chain is pretty irrelevant in PC speakers like this. Simply no, it won't make any difference with those speakers; the distortion produced in an ordinary DAC and analogue cabling are far lower than the distortion produced by the drivers. The pure digital connectivity may be useful if you have an extremely noisy electrically environment (you often experience pops and buzzes from your current speakers).

I'd say a nice point with that set though is that it has wide range satellites (ie woofer and tweeter) and with more low mids, the stereo effect is improved :) . Integration with the sub should be better as such too.
