Hi,

Just built a system on this motherboard.

the digital display on the mobo shows just 7F and i get no display on the screen

help please!
 
complete system specs?
8E isn't a code that I'm familiar with but if you get 7F again try hitting F1 & see if it will continue.
 
right, 8E is due to it not detecting a cpu fan, how do i turn this off?

its gone back to 7E again, i get no display at all....tried a different gfx card, bios shows straight away on screen.........likely borked graphics card?

the cards are identical
 
If it says it's not detecting a CPU fan, do you have one attached to the CPU fan header? If not, attach a fan there to get you into the bios, then disable monitoring of it.

But, as above, your full system specs would help
 
it certainly sounds like 1 gfx card is faulty if it works OK with the other.
Which exact Corsair?
What PSU?
How cooled?
