Abit IP-95

Hi, I have a quick question

This motherboard supports DDR2 and DDR1:

Does anyone know if Core 2 Duos work with DDR1? because I've never seen them with DDR1 before.

pretty sure that they do (but not 100% positive) - i think that someone like Asrock even had an 865 chipset mobo with C2D support.

Thanks for the reply. It seems that they do from the Abit website, but I guess it must be a rare combination of CPU and RAM because most Core 2 Duo systems will use DDR2.

Thanks for that article, it looks like DDR will work and the performance difference isn't that much.
