Hi Guys

I just got my bits from OcUK as below:

Abit IP35-Pro
Q6600/Tuniq Tower
4x1GB DDR2 Geil ULL (6400)
Sammy Spinpoint 500GB
BFG 8800GTS
Corsair HX 620W PSU

1. Posts fine, I tried to change time and date setting in Bios (thats all I did) save and exit, it re-boots but monitor would not power up so I tried reset and the same thing happens.
2. I cleared cmos (using the handy swith on the back) powered up, posts fine
but when I try to change boot sequence to EG. Boot from SATA CDROM and try to save I get the monitor not powering up "Blank Screen" and have to clear cmos again for it to work... any idea's

Thanks guys
Monk

Just been lookin through the forums do you guys think it might be the voltage for the DDR, 1.80v is default for Abit and I have just read my 4 x 1 GB Geil ULL needs at least 2.00v to run correctly any thoughts...

I forgot to read the RAM sticks myself and had to break my neck nearly to see the voltages on the RAM modules without removing one. After this you should be sorted.

Did the RAM voltages sort it out Monkeyshead?

Do you know what BIOS level you are using?

I don't think it will be the BIOS as I have the same RAM, motherboard and PSU (and cooler but irrelevant) and I haven't upgraded my BIOS yet.

Check the various jumper settings around the board and see if they're all as they should be. I have the same mobo but without those issues and I haven't flashed the latest bios yet.

I'm pretty sure VortexA1 has answered the question correctly folks. No need for more input until monkeyshead posts anything.
