Stupid question but im installing the CPU on the mobo, orientation is correct however i cant close the metal cover? I lower it gently and it sits on the CPU forming an angle of approx 15 degrees? I dont want to force the load plate down as im sure it would damage the CPU......whats the deal?

Hey thanks guys. In the end i decided to go out and have a few beers...which turned into a lot more bees. Came home, saw the box open on my desk and figured '**** it im sure it wont break'.
Lo and behald im installing windows as we speak.
Think I knew not to push my luck so after installing the CPU i passed out
