Abit IP35-PRO + Realtek Ethernet Problem

Hi everybody, well I just got a PC :D:
antec 900
corsair 620w
bfg 8800gtx oc
q6600
2gb crucial ballistix pc5300 c3 667mhz
ip35-pro
320gb hd [ xp PREVIOUISLY installed, this hd has been used in another pc and i have installed it on this pc]

right, xp, everything else is working.
but, one problem, the internet seems to be firewalled or something, i don't think it's something to do with our networking because router is fine and is working on other computers, no filters what-soever.

right, i can't update windows time.
i can't sign in to msn, i can go on the internet and browse web pages.
but when i just start firefox, and the default start page loads, it gives me some 'words' about certificates and when they expire.

any solution?

would say that be your problem if ran on other pc, take it your last m/b was not a p35 chipset, drivers probs conflicting from your previous chipset, lan drivers ect
99% sure your gonna have to do a clean install
