Hey Guys

I'm looking for some new RAM as my current keeps failing MEM Tests (.exe throwing up errors all the time, service packs and updates fail constantly even with the CPU @stock these things are happening...)

Q6600 G0 @3.2ghz (TT)
Abit IP35-Pro
4 x 1GB (Geil ULL which is failing) 4.4.4.12 @2.1v
8800GTS
O/S Vista x64/XP-Pro

As I don't clock my Q6600 very high I was wondering if using 2x2GB sticks would be an advantage to me in the future, So what I'm after is some good rock steady Ram for my Abit IP35-Pro anyone point me out some of the good stuff.. ;)

Thanking you inadvance :D

Hi, I have been having problems with my Abit IP35 pro and 4gig Geil memory, mem testing with all 4 sticks in @ default settings it fails, run 2 sticks it passes.

Just out of curiosity what voltage have you put the motherboards MCH upto! that may help. and have you tried testing only 2 at a time (just thought I ask it could be the board and not your memory)

I had no problem with 4x1GB GeiL on my IP35-E, the ram died in the end though and the shop confirmed it was broken :P So I got a new kit back and sold it.

Got 4x1GB Crucial Ballistix PC6400 4-4-4-12 running @ PC8500 5-5-5-18 now. Much better memory if you ask me :) Board seems to love it aswell ;)
