Abit IP35 Pro (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard missing driver

Hi I downloaded the zip file - extracted it and double clicked the installer which appeared to complete and asked for a restart. I did but still no sound!?!

Under sound video and game controllers there is:

Audio Codecs
Legacy audio drivers
Legacy Capture video devices
Media Control devices
and Video Codecs.

None of the above seem to be the actual driver for the on board sound....and suggestions? As you may have gathered im not the most technically minded soany advice would be much appreciated.

In device manager there is one yellow 'other devices' category with an 'unknown device' within it. If I try to update the driver for the device and point it towards the folder containing the driver that I downloaded it doesn't work.

In addition, under 'system devices' there is a 'PCI Device' that is flagged as yellow....not sure what it is but thats an unknown as well!

Thanks all! Got it working now..the generic ones from the Realtec website worked, just had to find a few system 32 drivers from my windows folder as well.

Thanks for the help anyone that contributed

Mike
