right guys i'm looking to buy a new graphics card, i have an abit ip35 pro XE motherboard, Ive reading in some places that this board supports crossfire and other places that it doesn't...any body share and light to if it is or isn't

as if it isn't i will just got with nvidia, but if it is....then i think i shall go with ati, so i can cross fire at a later date,

i was looking at doing this as well and from the abit site it said that the first pci slot is normal x16 but the second one is x4 which effectivly reduces what ever card u put in there by 75% (thats my take on it)

im just going to wait a year or so and get the next single card.

im using a 4870 512mb atm so not a slow card by any means.

get a 24'' monitor and get the most out of a single.
 
hhhhmmm, al have a read on the abit site and see what the crack is on there, however if it is the case its so reduced a 2nd card so little, a single card would be better, think i will go with nvidia then
