Hi,
Does anyone know if the IP35 board will run 2 pci-e graphics cards, Not in SLI just normal mode to allow me to run 4 monitors.

Cheers

Jon

a regular IP35 won't (unless you can get a x1 PCI-E gfx card) - it only has 1 physical x16 & 2x1 PCI-E slots.
of course you could have a PCI-E & a PCI gfx card.

So the Pro will but the vanilla ip35 wont? i already have 2 pci -e cards coming from an IN9 650i SLI board.

Thanks for your replies.

Even if you have a P35 chipset motherboard with 2x physical pci-e 16x lanes they will not run at full speed anyway. One will run at 16x but the other will only run at 4x and will severely restrict any card in that slot. Not sure how much that will limit what you want to do though.

I just run 4 displays, i do a lot of design work and i also monitor quite a few systems remotely. I dont really play any games, i have a 7600gt and an 8400gs card at the moment but i want to go back to an intel based board.

Thanks for help

Jon
