Hey all

Just looking for some advice on Ram settings.

Currently my setup is as follows

MOBO - Abit IP35 Pro (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard
RAM - OCZ 4GB (2x2GB) PC2-6400C5 Dual Channel Vista Gold Series DDR2 (OCZ2G8004GK)
CPU - Intel Core 2 Quad Pro Q6600 "Energy Efficient SLACR 95W Edition" 2.40GHz (1066FSB)
CPU COOLER - Tuniq Tower

I currently have the Q6600 running stable at 3.2ghz at 1.385v, i have the FSB set manually to 356mhz.

Basically i'm wondering what DRAM settings i should be using to get the best out of my ram, i have currently only adjusted the volts to 2.1 as recommended and adjusted the timings to 5-5-5-18 again as spec'd.

just wondering what set up would be best a 1:1 ratio or 1:1:25 etc really need some advice here.

Many thx in advance

Stu

No replys or advice?

ok so i've been doing a little more reading on the subject, looking in CPU-z my DRAM frequency shows as 445.0mhz now as i'm using DDR2 ram each stick is actually running at 990mhz as that number should be doubled am i correct?

finally is it safe to run then memory at that speed i'm gathering as its from OCZ it should be fine with some overclocking.

many thx in advance
Stu
