Hello

Having read quite a few user reviews and opinions it seems like this is one great motherboard to go for.

However the only thing keeping back at the moment is the issue of whether DDR-8500 memory will work with this board? As an example I have checked on Crucial's website and they say that their 8500 modules are compatible.

My concern really I guess is the native support for DDR2-8500 - I understand this board is extremely overclockable. Does this actually matter, since some boards from Asus and Gigabyte seem to support this memory speed natively?

And finally assuming that I purchase this board and the given memory will I have to change any settings in the BIOS?

Thank you

It will have no problems running PC8500.

And yeah you'll have to manually set the voltage and 1066mhz in BIOS. The timings will probably already be set to 5-5-5-15 (assuming they are the advertised 1066mhz timings) as they are the standard JEDEC default timings.
