Abit uGuru wont start?

Just installed Abit uGuru so I can monitor the temps etc on my computer, but it wont start up - says the application has stopped working and that windows will close the program. Any ideas?

Vista Ultimate 32 bit.

Are you sure the version of uGuru is supported in Vista? Check on the Abit site for the correct version. I use Speed fan as it intergrates into sidebar gadgets. I prefer it to uGuru.

Are you using the latest version of uguru?

Abit uGuru 3.1X v3.107 for 2000/XP/2003/Vista/64bit - 7th December 07

Also are you running any other temp program in the background? some programs clash due to using the same drivers etc.

Nope I dont think any other programs like that are running. That is the version I tried. I'll try speedfan instead, I suppose I dont need the rest of the stuff that uGuru offers yet anyway.

I don't use Vista (even though I've had Vista Ultimate 64 6+ months!) so unfamiliar with it, but isnt their some feature where you can run programs in administrator mode? tried that?

Not sure really, I'm sure there is but I dont know how to access it. I'm just using speedfan now and its fine so I'll probably just keep that and not bother with uGuru.
