Able to use 2 different cards to play and record?

no need just get the right recording software and settings and your fine.

biggest difference is setting recording on a different hd to the game you recording.

most games can be recorded at 60fps capped now easily.

As a single card user you should be using GameDVR dg. It uses a part of the chip that is separate from everything else so there is no performance hit but the quality is excellent, coupled with small file sizes. It's Shadowplay for AMD essentially. As soon as it works with crossfire, i will be all over it. CAn't wait actually, i take a chunky fps hit whenever i bench/record and upload it to youtube.

It would be a nice idea, if it were possible. However Midget if you use GameDVR to record via the Gaming Evolved APP then the fps hit is very small and virtually unnoticeable.

Love the replay feature. as your (not always recording) if something happens in game that you wish you had recorded, just hit the replay button and it will dump the last 1 to 10 minutes (depending on what you have it set at) on to your recording drive.

Its brilliant, never again will you be thinking "ah damn, i wish i had recorded that" hit the replay hot key and you have recorded it! :D

matt all games i record are at 60fps anyway :p

so makes no difference too me  sounds okay but if its like shadow play which has poor quality compared to other progs then you better off with fraps and dxtory still.

once youtube gets it its ripped apart anyway.

I don't know about Shadow Play but the quality of DVR is the best i have ever seen, i have used Dxtory and FRAPS.

You almost cannot tell the difference between its video and the game.

Not seen this, how do i go about using it? just download the AMD app?
Yes, once installed go to Home, In the DVR window turn it on, mouse over the bottom right and click on the Gear-cog and set it up, File locations. hot keys, quality ecte...

The Bitrate ecte... Boxes are drop-down, just click and select whatever.

Its really simple :)

Seem good so far :) quality is definitely as good if not better than AB which i was using before.

Performance hit isn't at all noticeable either which is great.

can this record Mantle then?
