Haven’t got round to sorting my PC out yet, but a friend has asked me to spec and build him a system for under 800 quid. How does this sound:

Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium SP1 64-Bit - OEM (66I-01939)
(£74.01) £62.99
Total = £720
He wants a BIG screen... he is looking at the OCUK 28" thing. That spec should be able to handle 1900x1200 fine shouldn’t it? He will be playing WoW, Spore, some RTSs etc.
Can’t really wait around for i7, but I think that rig should last a good couple of years with maybe a GPU upgrade later on when needed.
Oh and anyone know what that 28" screen is like? He isn’t interested in colour reproduction/viewing angles etc, just for games (non FPS).
Thanks, just wanted to check this over before spending someone elses money >_< haha
