About time I did this. Bought Deus Ex.

I bought Deus Ex yesterday to see what all the fuss was about, after 5 minutes I had managed to get stuck in the training mission by throwing the rifle into the shooting range and I couldn't get it back. Got bored after that :p
 
Realistic difficulty can be a **** to play on got killed twice in one shot by some lucky terrorist getting a headshot :(
 
Deus Ex set the standard for games in its day, although by todays standards its average, but then games have had 7 years to catch up. IW was a good game in its own right but was never going to do the original any justice.
 
WoW.... lol, i can slightly understand due to all the content, the extensive quests and the qualit of the communities (within reason hehe) and all round gameplay... but better than DE???? lol, they producer must be a wow addict as well then

Hmmm, I would put the first ahead of the second everytime. The first one made online gaming with the mods it spawned.
 
excellent game i might install and start playing it, have it here played it a bit but never go into it, lack of time. also have the sequal deus ex: invisible war

not played that much either.
 
De was probably the best game i played, afte HL, if only because the AI in HL is better then DE.

i played the game several times with different approaches, e.g. non-lethal, lethal, straight through, drifter (doing all the side parts, exploring etc).

i loved it everytime....:)
 
Deus Ex huh... I getting that free with a PC but assumed that it would be **** because it was free. I then played it and really enjoyed it. Unfortunately I was only a couple of hours into it when the PC went fubar and have never played it since.

I might go have a look for it! :D
