About to buy a new car

I am about to buy an 02 plate Ford Focus 1.6 Zetec. It has 40000miles, full ford service history, Air con and its 3 door. Its in mint condition and its £5999, is this over priced or is it ok?

depends...

im pretty close to selling my 2003 focus, 5 door, zetec, 1.8 tdci (115), climate pack (aircon and heated front screen and wingmirrors) with 28k miles for about 6.7k privately ...

if yours came with a years warentee or somesuch... maybe

Well it is a ford main dealer so I guess its decent.

If you're paying £5999 then that sounds like the price on the screen. Car sales are rather slow this time of year so you could haggle and get a few hundred pounds off which you can stick towards insurance

agreed......

should be good for about £300 - £400 off that.....

otherwise the price aint that bad.
