About to buy E6300, good step?

26A Core 2's clock very well if I remember correctly, Circa 3.4GHz with the right air cooling. Correct me if wrong.

Hi,

Thanks for the quick reply!

Will likely purchase this then and compare to how my E4300 clocks (still testing this) ;)

Thanks

Wait for a E6320. 4Mb cache better video encoding. At 3GHz this should perform the same as the X6800.

better actually cuz you'll have those 66 extra mhz or somethin :p

I have a 26A. Running at 3.15 on virtually silent air, previous owner got it to 3.3 on water at 1.35v. Seem to be good chips if you have the mobo for them!

I through my box out and didnt know were to check and see what stepping mine was  But its a good overclocker anyways going to keep pushing it and see how far it will go on air.
