About to buy

I have had a look at the cloud but I prefer the look and I also prefer wireless.I have also read some reviews about it and they look good. Could i use this if I don't have either 7.1 or 5.1?
 
Well, it's not really the surround sound (5.1 or 7.1) that matters but the OHM, they're rated at 60 OHM (Headphones), if i remember correctly and onboard audio isn't gonna cut it.. :)

That's what i meant by getting the best out of them and the soundcard i linked.

I've never really liked gaming headsets either, tend to be overpriced and gimmicky. I decided just to go the headphone + seperate mic route after having so many gaming headsets have the mic go on them, however i would say the clouds are the exception :)

They've gone back up in price now, may as well get the Corsair Gaming H2100s now if you're still looking. I'm testing some right now and they're pretty damn good
