Hi all, after having settled on a b450 tomahawk for my 3900x, i'm now thinking i need to get an x570 and return the tomahawk. Been reading loads of issues with the b450/3900 and the lack of out of the box plug and play is worrying
as such, i'm returning the b450 and looking to order an x570 for delivery tomorrow. I don't intend to overclock, will be running stock cooler and 32gig of 3200mhz ram (2x16)..and a 1tb nvme drive.
As such, i don't need bells and whistles and the 200 pounds or so asus seems to fit the bill without breaking the bank. I like the fact that it has 8 usb ports though i'd imagine that's fairly standard or even under what many have? either way, it's enough for me.
So with all that in mind, is there a strong overwhelming reason not to plump for this board. As said, i'm literally just hoping to put it all together tomorrow evening and get on with things without having a massively stressful headache inducing build (bear in mind i haven't built a pc for over a decade so i'm rather rusty!).
I don't think i can justify an extra 140 quid for the taichi board...would rather put that money towards a 2tb ssd drive really...
thanks!
