About to format and install this lot,tips plz

Im going to format my machine and reinstall win xp along with this hardware,is there anything i should know regarding the hardware drivers specially for the mobo and are there any drivers or tweaks i need to add for the core 2 duo ? this is the 1st C2D ive had so abit of a newb with them

The mobo is a rev2 it says on the box so do i need to update the bios/drivers straight away ?

just install windows followed by the drivers for the motherboard and gpu, check the sticky in the Windows forum it's really great!
